iRobot and Taser to produce weapons laden robots

If the machine-gun equipped robotic sentry developed by Samsung and Korea University gave you the creeps then hang on till you hear about iRobot and Taser's plans. The duo are partnering to come out with "weapons-capable bots." The Packbot Explorer is the firt one in line that is fitted with a Taser X26 stun gun.
Packbot Explorer will be sold to police departments and the Pentagon. The only solace however is that they don't plan on making any guns-equipped sentry here. Hopefully the military won't force them to make any either.
